Nice one :D

How long to bring him to the boat? I wouldn't bring him in green - I would imagine a tail slap would do a number on ya ;D ;D

It took an hour and a half to get it in. The Big guy in the pink shirt did most of the work, until the end of the fight when he was getting tired and impatient. He started clamping down on the reel to get more drag. I made him give the rod to me for the last 15mins so he wouldnt break it off. Those were some hurtful 15 minutes for a little guy like me!

As for the tail slap - ya shoot first with 12 gague low brass shot and ask questions later. ;D

Now I know that down here we eat sharks -- it was the first thing I fished for when I moved to the coast -- but the ones we have eaten are much smaller. What do you guys do with a BIG ONE?

I steaked it up and we ate it. Honestly, It was terrible. Some claim that thresher is better then mako. NO WAY. I wont keep a thresher ever again unless I'm in a shark tournament. We fished the tournaments for years but havent for the last few.
