Talking Hello forum

Hello members:
Im Greg and I'm form Chesapeake Virgina
lets keep this forum alive !!!!Im restoring a 75 v20 I have aquired and want as much advice as I can get
Im not new to the boating scene but this is my first wellcraft
I've owned had a restored a few boats
1981 Christ Craft VF211 (Sold
1976 aquasport 22-2 (Sold
1980 aquasport 170 (Sold
The last 4/5 years I havent owned a boat just beenwatching my kids become adults and getting a few grand kids

Yeah your right,she is dirty but I bet she will clean up reel good, a trip to the dollar tree seems to be in your future, pick up toilet bowl cleaner ( the works ) and start to scrub , good luck on your new boat, a reel classic you have.

toilet bowl cleaner with bleach works ? woud soft scrub scratch the gelcoat? i used zep mold mildew Cleanr.. spray on and everything disappears... just wear crappy clothes. then i wash down with soap & water

Welcome Greg! Love the old 70's Vs. You can add a little bleach to your soapy water and it will clean that boat right up. When I first got my V, I washed it good and buffed it with 3M fiberglass restorer and wax and it came out slick and shiny as new.
