And you'd be perfectly within your rights, but also 100% correct that you would offend someone somewhere. That's the problem with Political Correctness... By trying to please everyone you wind up not being able to please anyone.

As for your assertions about Obama, Pelosi and Schummer, I'm not going to try to prove or disprove them. All I'm going to do it again point out that President Trump has gone out of his way to say "Merry Christmas" emphatically in most of his speaches, rallies and on Twitter. And truthfully, I must disagree with you about it being a phony, made up offense. It started back around the time of President Clinton and the political correctness movement and has grown stronger every year. Answer me a question... You're a merchant. When you have a customer in your shop do you wish them a Merry Christmas or do you try and be inclusive and wish them Happy Holidays? If your answer is Happy Holidays then you're a part of the problem, it's not made up and Mawshj is 100% correct. I rest my case.
