Default Repowered with Yamaha 175 VMAX SHO prop ?'s

Just picked up a 2017 Yamaha 175 VMAX SHO with 60 hours on it and 4.5 years of warranty left for a really good deal. Based on my research I'm showing a 14 1/4x 17P prop for my setup. Does anyone else have other opinions on which prop? I'm leaning towards a power tech propeller. I've used them on all my boats and have been very happy.

I ran my 1988 yamaha 150 hp prop on it today. 14 3/4X17P. Got 5700 rpms and 49.6 mph. WOT rpm is 6000 on this engine. Little better than the old 2 smoke which topped out at 46 mph and 5600 rpm really light no fuel.

Cool

Everything depends on what you want your boat to do. Do you want speed, or hole shots or ??? Sounds like you have it dialed in right now, but you *might* want to try a 19p prop just for shats and giggles.

Its just a fishing boat that I mostly fish in by myself so speed is probably the important thing.
