this is my boat, great boat in excellent shape. down side is the 225 yamaha. Checks out 125 psi in all 6 cylinders(at a boatyard).
Question to other V-20 owners- at what RPM is your steplift doing 25 to 30 mph. and how much fuel consuption?
Yes the 225 is large(same motor as 200, different carb setup), but it runs 28mph at 3000rpm.
Think of the old V-8's, did you always have to open the 4-barrels?
To sum up, the boat and trailer are great, the motor has a lot of life because I never ran her hard.
