went for grouper again, thought we'd hit jackpot

turned out to be a redfish,

yeah, that's a shame. every day I go over the channel and watch the wind kick up 2 to 4s all day long. other than the hope of a decent fall run and a handful of halfway decent bass before it gets too cold, our fishing season up here is all but over. so you get a fat, delicious grouper every OTHER trip and stuff your freezer with 15 pounds of beautiful fish meat. sorry to hear of your suffering.

Hang in there charlie, couple of more years and you can move down here

Actually don't freeze any fish, except flounder and trigger fish, only take what i can eat fresh and give away to neighbors.
