| Eclipse Mania

Just wondering what, if any, plans anyone has. I know some of you carolina guys are pretty close to 100%. We're at 83%. Our tides have been really drastic this last week. Around 2 feet, which is a lot for us in the summer. We went trout fishing saturday and the bite was outstanding. My son got off a midnight shift at 7 this morning, so we're going to head out in an hour or two and be on the bay during the event 11-3, local time. I'll report back this evening (if you can trust $2 glasses from books a million). |

watched it thru my welding helmet today, about the time it started getting dark a huge front rolled in, major clouds and rain. A whole lot of tourist spent a bunch of money locally to watch clouds. It did get dark enough for the street lights to come on

Same here, spare. We were able to see sun. Looked through the glasses, saw the moon block out 2/3's of sun, but did not get very dark. Then the afternoon t-storms moved in and it got dark. The fishing was great again, brought home 3 keeper trout and a black snapper. |
