Today I started my boat and after a few times I cranked her she finally started Happy about hat but I also changed the lower unit oil, the last time I changed it I noticed the color was two differant shades of green Dark and a light color so today I changed it and it's two differant shades of green dark like the oil and light shade I used quick silver lower unit oit I was wondering if that is good ? When you change yours is the color all the same color? If not then I might have a seal that went bad but it's not the milky color the would indicate a bad seal Thanks for any comebacks

I've had some oils that do that where they sort of seperate when they sit. I'm running yamaha in mine now, and I've always had good luck with it being a uniform color.

Mine is a mercury I'm sure you knew that when I said quicksilver so you don't think it's a issue? I should keep a eye on it But it's weird I just filled it with pennzoil lower unit oil Hopefully it will look better next time I change it
