Nice boat your have, I can't give you advice like these guys can but I learned something I have the glass fuses too but they still work but I'm going to consider changing them too the only two things I can say is first I would rewire the whole system and get the right colors for the system there are a lot of colors so when one thing stops working you know what wire it is And also Use tinned wire Don't rush and do one at a time It's worth the time, she's a great boat Every thing bilge lights horn Don't just use black and red You will never be able to trace it in the future If you can't get differant ( the correct ) color wire I would put tags at the ends so you know which wire is for , I hope I said that right I go out of nj too Atlantic highlands Maybe I will see you out there Capt

welcome, i am in the process of rewiring my 86 v20 boat. i took lots of pictures before i removed the wires and panels. i am using blue sea control panel fuse/switches and i am installing dual batteries up front. i use genuinedealz inc marine wire. ( cheapest i found) and deutsch connectors. i attached a few wiring diagram in case you want a reference. i have a few factory manuals in case you need reference.
