Something I've come to learn is that it costs about the same to fix up a cheaper boat as it does a nice one. A 23 to 25 footer you're gonna spend more on rigging, engines, etc, but paint, glasswork and such would not be a determining factor I feel price wise. Ths way I see it Skunk is you are right on the border. Spend a little more and your V will be the absolute nicest 20 footer 40 miles offshore or move up and spend more to fish the way you want more days out of the year. You gotta think about the money, time, effort, blood, sweat, and tears you already have in her you'll never get out when you sell, plus whatever else you'll have to put into the next one. It's a boat and even if brand new, custom ordered with all the options you want, it'll still cost you in small nickel and dime stuff.

If it were me I'd come off a few thousand or more and dance with the girl you brought.
