Default common knowledge

if its too hot to fish, its too hot to work on the boat. if its too cold to fish, itstoo cold to work on the boat. if its not too hot or too cold and im not fishing its raining. or i have more important things to do.

but lets be honest... its never really too hot or too cold too fish, is it? and the only thing that important is spending time with my kid, so i need to take him fishing more, rite?

dam rain

Few years back we got a couple inches of snow fishing Va beach chasing ocean stripers. Enclosure and 2 Mr. Heaters running wide open were the ticket. We caught 1 short that day. There's probably some pics in the fishing section. Never too cold.

Enclosure is great for those that can afford them. For me, that's what a Cuddy Cabin is for. I keep telling myself I'm going to install a window in the door so I can watch the lines from inside. Love Mr. Heaters, but they gobble up too much air and propane. I do like the one use body and hand warmers though. No fumes, safe and they keep you remarkably warm. Still, an enclosure would be nice. Anyone have one they want to give away free to an old salt?

Yup... those are the one use things I was talking about. I like the larger ones, tuck two of them in your belt, one on each side by your kidneys, and they keep your whole body warm all day.

Destroyer,
Do you have a factory bimini top?
I did have a complete enclosure for a factory top. Not sure if I still have it down in the basement in the shop but I will take a look. It came off our 91 V. Not sure if the zippers would match up etc. I will take a look next time I'm down in the shop. It has maroon binding and the clear vinyl in tired.
