4hp kicker

I have a 1.5 hp motor... I've used it on an 8' plastic pond boat...
At full throttle I'd say it moves at 3-4 mph....

I'd guess the 4 hp on a 10-12' boat would make 5-6 mph...

You'd have a calm weather, no current rig but would be just fine in those conditions.
