Does anyone have any information or specs on the original saddle tanks that were installed in the 1976 model year?
I bought my V about a year and a half ago and the 12 gallon plastic tank range is getting old!!! Any help will be greatly appreciated. If anyone knows of a local shop that has done this work for them, please share as well. (Southeastern Massachusetts ) Thank you in advance |

These are the dimensions of the saddle tanks in my 1975 V20: 60" Long, 17" High, 6" Wide at top, 3" Wide at bottom. They hold 20 gallons each.

There is a fairly recent thread on this.

The dimensions Fitz posted are the same as mine.
Note my picture is of the port tank with the poly replacement. The interior is square with the top and bottom of the tank, the exterior (outside) is angled. The starboard tank will be a mirror of the port one. The fill tube and vent are forward, the sending unit in the center and the outlet in the rear. Remember to add "ears" to each end to fasten to the floor. http://www.wellcraftv20.com/communit...nk+replacement
