Default First NHL game

I won a set of tickets for an Edmonton Oilers game against the Carolina Huricanes tonight. Taking my boy to his first pro hockey game so he can experience the massive crowd ( nothing even close to football crowds ) and atmosphere.

GO OILERS GO

Awesome!
Hockey is so much better in person. You can see the whole play develop as the teams move up and down the ice. Also you can see the line changes and any chippy play that happens after the puck has left the area.
I watch hockey on TV because it keeps me from going stir crazy in the winter months. Nothing much to do when it get dark at 4 pm

I hear you bro way better live you get to watch the play set up instead of puck watching. My boy had the time of his life and we got down by the dressing room door for a photo opp. One of the players came out and we got the pic with the five stanly cups they won in the back ground

Awesome Redneck. You sure seem to be doing a good job raising your boy. Cheers to you.

Being from the South, I don't know anything about hockey, but during the winter it's a whole lot better to have on in the background than round ball.

Thank you it's a struggle I know everyone has there own story and issues but the excitement on his face and the gleam in those eyes melt most mine away. I played a lot of hockey being from land of the long pants the small town I live in didn't have a lot of sport options hockey soccer baseball and Hockey lol. Wish I could have played lacrosse right up my ally run around with bursts of speed agility and a wooden weapon were slashing and cross checking is legal
