Oh the misery....Help! Need input

Sitting here and thinking about Fillet's last post.....the guy tapped the area with a pen and it sounded hollow. Could it have hit the trailer at some point, cracked the chine which caused water to get in, had a bad repair on it which caused the spider webbing further back? Thus just being a bigger area to grind and marinetex vs. gutting the boat? Thoughts??? I know, we need pictures....I'll get them tonight, just throwing some thoughts out there...this emotional rollercoaster needs to stop!
