I saw it in the corner of your smoker picture. I've had mine for several years and my buddy was original owner for several years. I've only rebuilt mine once but recently my dad got a freebie at a yard sale in ok shape. At some point I'm gonna do some part swapping.

Yours looks really good to be that old.

p.s. nice king

I also have a Holland!!! had it for about 15 years.great grill just cook by time. mine only has one burner so its a little slow. back when they had the filters in the stacks it would smother the flame out. I found this out the hard way on my birthday one year. I was cooking chicken and went out to ck on it. the flame had gone out,so I turned off gas valve and cked everything. seemed to be fine. with the lid open I took my lighter stick put it in the round port and then turned the gas lever on. all I saw was a red fire ball coming out!!!!!!! I caught on fire. had 2nd degree burns over 95% of my face!!!!!!!this is the worst thing I have ever been thur, but was lucky that there was no permanent damage and no plastic surgery. it took me a week or two before I would use it again. I now have a different lighting procedure!!!!!! that all happened 13 or so years ago and I still am using to this day!!!!!!!!!

mine also has the rod with the clip, but i use a scripto lighter stick. Now i open the port flap, turn on bottle gas, light lighter then turn on gas lever and i dont look directly in the hole anymore!!!!! That would be great if you could convert to n g. I still lug bottle gas also.

that is scary....I do the same procedure with lighting the lighter then turning the valve, lid always open. The one thing that got me - waited too long to clean the stacks and drip pan. Went outside to find flames coming out of the left stack.

Char-grilled burgers were salvaged, thankfully. Just glad the grill wasn't next to a wall or it could've been real bad.

Great grills, not the best for a steak IMO but will do the job.
