Default Looking for plenty of seats

Cheers V20-friends, just joined your forum since I`m thinking of purchasing a V20 -1989. Will use the boat more as a oceanfriendly familyboat rather than fisher (I live on westcoast of Sweden in nortehrn Europe)
The lack of seats in the aft concerns me though, how will I find original seats as foldable sundeck or similar sofa etc? :)
Any suggestion, or advice would be appreciated.
Anders

Welcome Anders , I will look around and see what I can find on that . I know that I have seen them before . It should be very easy thing to have made . Wellcraft is very good about helping you locate their O.E.M. suppliers . They may be able to help you . But I would think that you could have one made over there cheaper than having one shipped from The USA . Second thought with the weak $ maybe not . Anyway I have some old catalogs that I will look through ..

Does the boat have a full transom? Mine boat does and it came with a full rear seat that spans the entire transom. It fastens to the deck with four pins. It wouldn't work with a notched transom. Other than that, I'd just buy some folding chairs from West Marine.

Thanks very much for your quick help. I will take notice og your advices and contact both Wellcraft and maybe also someone who can help me build a seat. As long as I do not have to buy a tacky Sea Ray.
Springtime regards from Stockholm
Anders ;)

I bought this aft bench seat from West Marine:

http://www.wellcraftv20.com/gallery/...bum06&id=H

The interior width of my V20 at the transom is 70". The width of this seat is 60". The fit is perfect, and it provides extra storage capacity as well as comfortable seating for three. I installed another 20 gallon tank under the seat, and I still have room for oil, rod holders, life preservers, and other items.

Good luck with whatever you buy.

Welcome to the board...love your Sea Ray comments... :D...I have two folding thickly upholstered chairs...when hauling passengers I use them....

What are gas prices like over there...did you guys experience large $$ increase over last few months?...

Hey guys, don't knock Sea Ray till you try it. *Along with my 86 Step Lift I also have a 97 Sea Ray Laguna Flush Deck Cuddy. *Check their website for pictures. *It's a great 24' fishing boat.
It has a 225 Merc 3 liter and it's quite seaworthy. *I also owned a 27 Sea Ray Amberjack (88) with a 10' beam. *Excellent offshore boat.
