Default Sunday, Raritan Bay

With NE wind decided to launch from Keyport rather than Belmar and glad we did.

Fished from the triangle to the Military Pier catching fish off Keansburg to mid bay.

Somewhere around 8-10 shorts to 27", plus 3 nice keepers to 33" for the two of us.

Trolled stretch plugs and caught one on drifted clam.

Nice day.

Ouch, that's not good, but could be worse........... transom could have broken off, motor sank, and boat swamped when you were a few miles offshore.

So at least you caught the issue....

Nice report B....forgot what they taste like. Skunk, no more snowy field tho, right? I know you are itching to get back on the water. Hope you do soon.

Transom is all dug out, doing other odd jobs while I wait for some 75 deg days to do glassing. Hoping to be in by June.
