Default New Project-What Color LED for Interior

Bought this wonderful project this this past October for $600.. great buy. engine needed harmonic balancer replaced.. no biggie. Engine is a 2001 Merc 4.3 with under 400 hours.. I am replacing rod boxes, seats, redoing teak, haave to rebuild glove box, new radio, antenna new raymarine dragonfly gps, new led bow & stern light.. etc etc... new glass on full enclosure.... new $600 boat quickly turns into $4500 after rebuilding trailer... wait until I finish and repost pix!! any sugestions??.. new bilges, blower....etc etc

what color interior LEDS?? Red blue green white??

Blue seems to be the color de jour around here, but if you are planning to use the boat at night, then red LED's are really the only ones that I would put in. The reason is that the red spectrum will not destroy your night vision like blue or white will. (That's why you always see Navy ships with red lights on at night time)..Trust me on this one...

..... thanks.. I knew that certain colors helped the night vision , I just wasn't sure which one... thanks for the help

Go with RGB's and you can change colors to match your mood

I like the red for night vision, but ones you could change color would be nice too for when you're tied up at some waterfront nightclub in S. Fla.
