I know it's not a recipe, but I've found a craft beer that was being served at my local watering hole and it's called Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale. It's from a brewery in Lexington, KY. They age it in old bourbon barrels. It comes out at 8.2% and isn't heavy or bitter. My mom drinks Michelob Ultra Light and actually asked for a growler to take home. The bottle stuff is dreck, but if you happen to stumble on it somewhere on tap, it's worth a glass.
