Default 1977 Wellcraft V20 repair/rebuild thread

Starting a build/repair/rebuild thread for my 1977 Wellcraft V20 Step OB Cuddy...

Helm: new teak dash, rebuild instrument cluster (speedo, tach, 2 fuel, volt, and Raymarine Dragonfly 7), Standard Horizon VHF, repair/replace switches. Try to find a place for compass. Repair/refurbish controls. Repair/replace helm seat. Repair helm mounting area (fiberglass decking)



Cockpit: replace aft cabin wall with teak veneer marine plywood, replace electric blue well hatches with teak, replace teak accent railing along inner edge of gunwale (port and starboard), replace vinyl coverings on saddle tank access panels (port and starboard), repair holes, gel coat and spidering in cockpit sole. Replace port pedestal seat with back to back seat. Repair/replace deck fittings. New mid-ship running lights (port and starboard)



Aft Cockpit: new 2 battery system, new wiring, repair/replace deck fittings, relocate fuel filter, fabricate vertical extension for forward edge of motor well, new tank selector, repair/replace worn wires and cables. New anchor/aft lighting.



1971 Mercury 1350 in-line 6 (Tower of Power): complete tune up, plugs, wires, carb rebuild, timing, distributor, water pump, fluids, grease, seals. Tilt lift cylinder rebuild.
