when the sun comes up and the beach fish disappear, go out to 60', find and drift live bunker. 2 flat lines and one down 30' with a 2oz egg sinker. Wait it out as you drift between schools of bunker. You don't have to be right in them.
When in shallow(20-40') always have one the bottom. Even just a dead head. Hey, my buddy was out at Shark River Reef again, 15 keeper cod and three 4 pound winter flounder.
