Does anyone here know what size hose and primer bulb I need for my 1996 Johnson 150hp Oceanrunner? any one brand over another? Any help (and possibly links) would be of great help to me. Thanks!!!

Mine uses 3/8" and I use BRP factory hose and the primer bulb. I've had a poor experience with the moeller lines, that were installed by PO's,on the past 2 boats I've owned.

3/8 line and either the BRP(best price), Mercury(same thing) or Yamaha(best bulb but pricey). Dont use any aftermarket bulbs, they all suck.

What he said. 3/8" line, a GOOD OEM primer bulb, and I like to use a good high grade marine fuel line from a marine supply house(DON'T use the cheap stuff from an auto parts store).

I suggest an Evinrude hose and primer bulb. There are many available that are of equal quality, but you can be sure if it says Evinrude on it.

My fuel tank hose barbs, filter, and squeeze bulb are all 5/16" tubing. My outboard mechanic strongly recommends either metal hose clamps or plastic ties that are rounded under the fastener--not flat. You can find the right plastic ties at West Marine or most good boat stores. Be very careful with the metal hose clamps on plastic hose barbs because you can easily over-tighten them. You can also break the hose barb.
