I will set up my photo gallery and post all the photos from start to finish.
I should be in the water by mid June. It's nice to know what the boat looks like inside and out. The Atlantic can be a tough place to be when things turn on you. I am a fair weather fisherman and chose my days carefully but if I get caught, this V should take more than me. One person asks me if I would trade her? I did a lot of research before taking on this project. Prior to this boat, I had a "78" 17' Aquasport that was great for back bays and rivers. In the ocean, it felt very small and uncomfortable. My V feels like a much larger, stable boat that feels at home in the ocean. Another reason I chose the V is the outstanding fuel economy I can achieve with the 470. I know I could do better with a four stroke but for now, the 470 will do. Another boat I would consider rebuilding is a 20' or 22' Limestone. More rare but I love the Hunt inspired hull and Hinterhoeller design. |

Beautiful work! I look forward to seeing more in your gallery. I especially like the color of the hull you chose.
