Default Finnish cousin – 1984 v20

Hi and greetings from Finland! I've been reading a huge amount of more and more interesting threads on this great site and community – Lot's of cool projects and valuable information. I thought to start sharing something as well.

Some background info: I was having a bit too bad boat fever last Autumn. I was looking for some Coronet boats (Danish day cruiser designed by Jim Wynne), Bertrams and Chris Crafts. I already had a small fishing boat – 16 foot Tracker. Then I found this baby from Sweden. I wasn't very familiar of v20 models, but immediately when I saw the announcement, I knew that's the one.

It was late November when we took a ferry to Stockholm and came back with a new boat on a trailer. Usually, we have half meter snow cover on the ground on that time of the year, but this winter has been different. The spring is already coming and I started the project on last Sunday. More about that in the upcoming posts. Some pictures:

Tsubaki, I was thinking the same thing. They look like they are spring loaded, so they will conform to the hull shape as the boat comes onto the trailer. Center keel rollers take the weight, and the outboard rollers act as stabilizers. Really neat set up.

Maltsu, welcome to the site. Although you are not the furthest in distance, you are certainly one of the furthest away. In all cases, seeing the smile on your face in that third picture speaks volumes. Great find, and I know you're going to be happy with her.... and it looks like she found a good home. Congrats to both of you.

Since I don't see a cowl in the first pic, I'll go out on a limb and guess it's I/O powered.
