200 is the new 100.....Ridge did say bling!!!

if you are going to think somewhat reasonable, I'd go with a Fleming, Kadey Krogan, Offshore fast trawler or Defever

I've worked on several of these and they are top notch. They will go long range and they are designed to be used as a boat rather than a dock ornament like a Sea Ray. Service items on them are designed to be accessed. I get a lot of great ideas from these boats.

I want a Trawler, nothing too big, but capable of crossing the Atlantic, so I can cruise the Mediterranean Sea. Spanish, French and Italian Riveria, etc.

I want something capable of it, but not neccesarily to do it. I want something with that kind of range so I could go exploring, but crossing the atlantic would probably be best left to a ship transport company. If you had the range to do it though, think of how many places you could see. When I was younger I wanted a go fast 50+ sportfish, now I guess I'm getting older and wish I could just go out and enjoy what the world has to offer. And spending days on end running at trolling speeds sounds VERY interesting.

I think we agree in principal. It was the getting there and doing the exploring that was my main interest. I remember when I was in the Navy, we made 2 Mediterranean cruises, and exploring all the different ports of call was an experience that I'll never forget and would love to repeat. Rome, Naples, Pompeii, Valencia, etc. etc... If getting there meant running at 12 or 14 knots for several days I think I could stand the boredom. Since it's roughly 3100 nm from NYC to Europe, running at 12 - 14 knots would take somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 days. But if you went by way of the Azores you could stop for refueling, resupply and spend days exploring there. Think of how cool that would be. To just cruise anywhere you wanted, with not a care in the world except to wonder what you were having for dinner.

My good friend says I have as much chance at winning the lottery if I play as if I don't so I guess this old girl will have to do.
