Default Slip for 2014

I have been down on the CT. shoreline off and on for the last few weeks checking out marinas for a place to keep the NAUTI BUOY this season. I found a great one in WESTBROOK CT . my slip is only .4 miles up the river from some of the best fishing in LONGISLAND SOUND. The world record STRIPER was caught out of this marina 2 years ago. At a cost of $1300 from april 15 to oct 31 seams very fair . All the boats here are between 18 ' and 22' and all are fisherman , I hope we will be able to have a get together in this area this summer . Does any one else fish this area ?

Nice looking place.
$52 a foot for early bird price is cheap.

Our marina is $63 a foot if paid in full before the new year.
We have power and water and not much else.
Certainly doesn't look as nice the Pier 76 Marina.

Grey,
I'm no help in the fishing dept. Not around here or anywhere for that matter. I'm pretty good at cooking something up on the grill or making a clam boil and I'm really good at keeping beverages ICE COLD in the cooler.

did some research yesterday, there are a lot of sand bars & islands with nice beaches, state launches and motels within 15 minutes of the marina . how many of you folks would be interested in a get together in this area ?? before I go any further and waste my time and $$ let me know

Hey GW,
Just bring it on down to Alabama on the warm gulf coast and you can put it here at the house and I will sell mine and just run yours to keep everything working LOL
Oh I will also fish it just to make sure it all works.
That will make the cheapest boat I have ever had. LOL

GW,
We would love to make a trip down to CT to meet up with everyone however our free time is pretty limited. Karen and I only get 1 day off a week together unless we are on vacation.

Working for a living is over rated!!
