Thanks gang look forward to many years of boating with her once I deem her seaworthy. As a high schooler in Tampa we had a 20-21 ft vessel that my Father who was the terminal manager for Shell Oil co. in Port Tampa had access to use and we would occasionally take it off its davits (almost a weekly occurence) to ensure it was running properly and go racing against the local C.G boat if they were around. I can't remember the make or model and other than the fact it had twin inline 6 cyl motors. I vividly recall outrunning the C.G. boat often across Tampa Bay between Gandy Br. and Courtney Campbell Causeway, it was a fast, well handling ,v-style boat and may have been a V-20, it was very similiar in styling and when I saw this boat nearly 2 yrs ago on a hunting forum for sale for $1500 w/no engine I checked up on it but it was too far away to actually go and see her then(Commerce,Ga.). Miraculously she showed up about 2 months ago on Craigslist for $1500 in Marietta,Ga., then he dropped the price down to $1200 a week ago so I pounced. Using my negotiating skills to get her down to the $1050. I plan on a full restoration eventually once we have settled near the water, although I do have a large lakes nearby(Lake Allatoona and Lanier). Either way look forward to the new project and comradery here as well,Thanks
Tommy
