Well, the cowl is worth a couple bucks at least.

Westeria vines love the bulbous cowl. It will eventually go back to mother earth. No telling what might have happened to that mota. Lest you have the backstory, might be a creampuff under there. I would right that puppy in a second to get a compression reading. If I owned one I would buy it for the spare parts. Aren't the injectors north of $300 each on that mota?

there's a rod hanging out the side of the block, you don't even have to pull it apart to see inside. He's keeping it for spare parts on the rare occasion that an Etec shows up around here.

I'd still hang it on the fence instead of letting it lay there. Any word on how it blew?
And Ridge, those are morning glorys, if it were wisteria it would already be covered up by now.

(And if it were Wisteria (the vine from hell) then all I could suggest would be to dig up the entire yard and remove any trace of the vine you could find. That sucker will travel underground until it finds a suitable tree or bush to climb on, then climb up that plant to reach for sunshine, choking the life out of the host plant or tree in the process. My moms house had some really pretty apple and cherry trees at one time. They are all dead now because of the Wisteria).

don't worry about the westeria, the kudzu crowds it out. In all fairness, right beside that motor is a bunch of yamaha's, Suzuki's, Mercs, and Johnrudes in similar condition. I just thought it would be a sarcastic picture, worthy of laugh

Brazillian Peppers eat wisteria for lunch. LOL! What do I know.. Glad others have tangled with the beast of all volunteer vines.
