To only achieve a combined hp rating of around 200 hp at the prop shafts. If it would hold the weight of those two it would hold nearly any size single in a 4-stroke up to 300 hp. Or a lightweight 300. The crossflows are tough just very thirsty, I have a 90 horse and I swear it gets worse mileage than the 250 Opti does on a larger boat.
It probably does drink more than your OPTI does. I was shocked running mine on my V-20. I put in 40 gallons and it had about 6 gallons in it to start with. After 3 hours of break in I was on fumes.
