Can't help myself. If your replacing wood, why are you putting wood back?
I know the industry hasen't provided us with an economical alternative but it just drives me crazy to fix an old problem with a new problem. Keep us posted hammer, that is the only appropriate measure. AND IT LOOKS GOOD.
