A Dismal Swamp cruise is on my "to do" list as well.
There was an article in the Wildlife in NC magazine a few years ago where they made it a two day trip spending the night in Va on the north end of the canal...I will have to see if I can find it.

Come on up we keep saying were going to do that trip, lot of our friends have made the trip.

I had a freind who did that in a 38 footer. Said it was a great trip lots to see. Lets hook it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Whats the best time of year to do it?
I would think late September or early October? As long as nothing tropical comes through.
