I used marine grade Baltic birch, 2 sheets of 3/4" for about $135 per sheet. I used epoxy resin from US Composites, about a pound of 1/4" chopped strand, 10 yards of 17 0z 45/45 biax, and I think 16 oz of silica thickener. Don't need the 1708 if you use epoxy. Also a 2" 3/8" aluminum roller is a must have. probably looking at $1200 in materials if I remember correctly. Lots of gloves, acetone, 4" grinding disks and lots and lots of rags.

The V20 have a bit of a curve that can be tough to get right. You will need to do 2 1/2" cuts on the first layer at an angle to make the bend, second layer of wood can be bent without the cuts.
