I cut a hatch in the deck where Reel is talking about just in front of the cuddy entrance. Phatdaddy did this and is the one I got the idea from. I ran 1 gauge cables through a rigging notch in the starboard stringer and up to the rigging rings inside the starboard gunnel to a large terminal block on the inside transom. I decided to go with two 1000 MCA Interstate Mega-tron cranking batteries instead of the Blue Seas combiner/automatic charge relay with the deep cell house and seperate cranking battery. I hardly run any electronics and liked the idea of less wiring/crap to go wrong. The two 1000 MCA cranking batteries idea I got from one of Spare's posts that got me thinking K.I.S.S.
If anyone is interested in the Blue Seas System I'll sell it for less than what it cost me. Never really used it, just hooked it up and then changed my mind. It is a high quality item. Members "Fishing with Blue" and "Whatknot" both run them and "Whatknot has a detailed wiring diagram posted on here if you do a search. Also have a BRAND NEW group 24 Interstate deep cell if interested.
