well I am happy to say that all the structual glass work is done!!!!! Its a skim and sand game now. Im gonna be rolling gell coat on the top side of this boat, 3 coats wet on wet and a 4 final coat all coats will be with waxed gelcoat. It will be gelcoated in sections, the cap will be done and completed then the the side walls of the liner will be completed and then the floor. I just dont want to paint the inside,Its a pain in the @ss and the gelcoat will be alot more durable. I also have decided im not vc performance epoxing the bottom. The gelcoat is in pretty good shape and some spots will need some attention with some matching gelcoat. I will be matching and blending my own, I wanted to learn how to do this anyway. Can I call wellcraft and get a gelcoat match from them? 1974 is a long time ago! lol!
