Gas cap
I lost my gas cap.
 I have tried all the 1 1/2 perko caps that west marine has and none will fit. it is the ome that came with the boat. I found a plastic on that goes on but its not going to last very long. I have thought about just replacing the whole thing but it would cost more then just the cap. Does anyone have an extra one or know of a place that has some.

done that too! couldn't find replacement. bought fancy new stainless with push button cap attached by bead chain and tiny screw.....that's now under the dock at Hoffman's in Manasquan... bought replacement fancy push button with bead chain......

I also believe if I recall that 2 of three holes lined up and I had to drill a new hole for the third screw. or maybe I just used one hole and drilled 2 new ones. I do remember that the flange just barely covered the old holes but it did.

I had to replace the whole thing as well...don't know where Wellcraft came up with the original ones, must have been a special run.

now that I think about it I may have hooked up the grounding wire to the back of one of the mounting bolts/screws.

183.572 - Grounding Each metallic component of the fuel fill system and fuel tank which is in contact with fuel must be statically grounded so that the resistance between the ground and each metallic component of the fuel fill system and fuel tank is less than 100 ohms.
