Aussie, nothing personal but I don't understand how anybody can believe the conspiracy theory crap unless they want to but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. I grew up a few blocks away from where these creeps were living in Cambridge. The mosque where the older one was said to have had fanatic outbursts used to be the K of C hall. I have friends who are local LEO's. I've seen pics that are not on the internet. How do you fake dead bodies with guts hanging out? A guy I work with is the uncle of the female cop that was in the photo on the Sports Illustrated cover. She is standing over the fallen runner with her pistol drawn. Everything I've heard says that all the authorities acted bravely and professionally but they were as shaken as anyone else after the fact. After they shot the MIT cop, held up a store and carjacked a SUV there was not a hot pursuit. I believe that they drove to the neighborhood in Watertown because they had connections there. By coincidence I worked a block away from where the shootout happened. A bunch of local kids that we hired had the same attitude as the bombers. Creepy. The older brother, new nickname "Speedbump", did not die in the shootout. He ran out of ammo and was being subdued by officers. His kid brother jumped in the car and drove at the officers who scattered. He then proceeded to run over his brother and dragged him to his death. Fortunately I don't know anyone who was injured in the attack but it hits close enough to home that I take it somewhat personally. |
