My 02 4.8 1500 got about 14 mpg,
my 09 1500 5.3 got 16 to 17 mp, Now the new to me 02 Tahoe 4.8 got 14 mpg But that was a 1/4 tank of gas when I refilled cause we were getting this snow storm. so I will see what it gets again when using a little more. If had to do it again I would look for one with the 5.3 the power is very noticeable.
