Bunks are done by many and a lot of people love them better then rollers. I have rollers and I need them places I go cause lot of the ramps are steep. So it all depends were you put your in the water, ramp is steep, can you launch or retrieve at low tide, these questions should be answered first. Well........ down at this ramp and that ramp....... guys show up early am and can't launch - they have to wait hours till they can float off using the bunk trailers. All that planning, packing, anticipation etc to sit and wait ...while the roller guys drop their boats and off they go.

I had bunk, I've had ( have ) roller and guess I'm not comfortable wondering if I can get out and back in. With the roller trailer I don't even have to submerge the trailer like a submarine. But hey - any boat and trailer that works is better than no boat and trailer.
