This is what you NEED! The 30 is everything the 28 was, and took care of all of it's shortcomings. It has a slightly lower deadrise which makes her a little slower than the deep V hulls in teh snot, but is a drier ride with higher sides for fishing and a USEABLE cabin in it for 2 to weekend on. They're super rare hulls, and until recently were priced out of sight(5 years ago tehse boats were fetching $50K plus with gas power that was getting tired).

I'll ask and see if Sea J's still for sale( I know most of the people that responded in that tread on THT). That would be a nice ride with the 6bt's

Probably way to much money for me I would think.

I know the feeling. I hated selling mine, but having electric for the house was more important. Things got better and we bought a travel trailer instead, but with the new baby that is going to have to go now too. Your not alone up there in the feeling.
