2 weeks ago in Manasquan River you could fill a 5 gal bucket with peanut bunker with 2 throws of a 7 ft net. And we were getting 6 inch mullet too.
I haven't been out in a while but I hear it all moved out to the beach. And the big bunker have been thick for years. In May & June sometimes you can run over bunker from Manasquan to Sandy Hook
