Union, there's a lot of DO IT YOURSELF paints out there. The sides of my outer hull are gonna be Interlux perfection in a fighting lady yellow color, my bottom is gonna be a interlux VC performance EPOXY, My inner hull I'm tossed up on but I'm leaning towards rolled on gellcoat, giving the boat a work boat finish inside. I have 2 gallons of interlux epoxy primer already. I'm working on the boat Saturday and Sunday I have been working 70 hour weeks lately so I've been kinda busy at work.

Finally working on the boat today. I really wanted to go fishing, the puppy drum are snapping right now. I set and glued the last part of my inner rail today and I'm gonna glassind them up tommorow. Next will be glueing and setting the top cap and then glassing over the whole cap to rail structure. Im really looking forward to fairing and slicking her up.

By far the most challenging layups I've done so far!!! Tight radias with multiple inside corners and tabs. I can't wait till these inner rails are done.

I also recieved a bonus today, I traded some spreader lights for a vhf radio and a raymarine rc420 chartplotter today!!!!! It was one of those situations were my buddy wanted spreader lights and he had what I needed, he's happy and I'm very very happy with the trade.

As you can see I had to cut relief in the inner rail to get it to conform to the lines of the boat. Before I glassed the inner rail I'm hotcoating and letting it gel, then I come back with thickened resin and filling in the relief cuts and then applying my cloth and all wet on wet. This I thought would bring back the structual integrity of the wood.
