Default 14 McKee

$3500 no its not mine, its my friend, Marc that has the Sea Vee, he's got too many boats, ones got to go, so the McKee is up for sale. I gave him the hull( I got two when I got my 14), he did all the work, painted it, put the console in, built the leaning post, etc... 70 hp Johnson, vro disconected, it runs great. He's asking $3500 for the package, its turn key!

Fuel tank and battery are both in the console(tight fit), sorry but he's already got a 13 Whaler(its his dads and never gets used). If you thing the McKee is pimping, you ought to see his 21 Superboat

i had a 60 on my 14 McKee and it was about right, the 70 worked out good for him because he drug his kids around on the tube and they skied behind it, the 60 wasn't quite enough to ski, but enough for tubing. The Mckees are heavy, and they use every bit of the hp you put on them, my 14 ran 32 on the gps wide open. I think Marc said this one ran in the high 30's

Those speeds are right in line with what I am getting. I have a 50 Johnson and top out right at 30. Tubing is okay, skiing hasn't been tested yet. I always thought 70 was overkill but I guess I was wrong.

Its a big difference between the 60 I had and the 70 on this on. My 60 ran real good, but it didn't have the power to pull like the 70. Marc said he rarely ran the 70 wide open, but I ran my 60 wide open a lot
