I am definitely IN.
Bassett's has shelter if we need it and you can acccess the beach there in any conditions. The sand is a narrow strip at high tide and much of the island is poison ivy but it is well protected. The canal ride sounds good to me though. I am bringing my gas grill no matter what but if it looks like real good weather I'll bring a burner and some lobtser or steamers to share.
