on mine (johnson 175 oceanrunner )you can loosen up the nut at the water outlet and turn it any way you want. dont know if yours has this or not.but i could turn it so it wnet out to one side or the other.

i think kracker means he has no pee hole now,(that just don't sound right)
i guess you could put a t between the heads and run a hose out of the pan. i know my merc has the tap behind the t-stats so it takes about 3-5 minutes to start flowing, kinda annoying

I don't think the 135 has a water outlet like your 175 Daydreamer.
The 135 has a few more B-days under its belt.

My 90 Johnny has a T-fitting like you mentioned KrackerJack. The hose runs to a plastic fitting that snaps into a hole on the lower section of the cowling. Right there at the fitting is a restriction point that gets stopped up easily if you run through much sand/mud. I dropped it in the drink last time I had to remove it to remove a blockage. The small purple mister nipples found in the irrigation isle at Lowe's work great for directing the spray away from the motor and far enough out that it can be seen at a glance, if you don't want to drill a bigger hole and go factory that is.

I know it could be done on the old Johnson 9.9 / 15 hp motors. I know yours isn't a 9.9 or 15hp but It would seem the concept of converting a non-overboard water indicator would be similar or the same.

Look at the last 4 or 5 pages on this link:
