When they built my tank in the boat (110 gal) They put the vent hose on the back of the tank, so when I have the boat in theyard I leave the bow up so the rain water washes out, but in the heat of the day the gas will exspand and drain out the vent, down the side of boat to the ground.
To stop this I just don't leave the bow way up, and stop filling the tank right to the top. When the pump clicks off its off, I don't try to even round off to the penny.
