yea I just got a new trailer light kit and it says that its submersible, but it had a 1/2 inch square hole on the bottom of each light where the wires run so water can go right inside and fill it up???? seriously??? WTF WAL-MART!!!

I added guide on's and bought pole lights, no more issues!! Screw them other lights!! I have had them all!! I never disconnect before putting in water anymore!
I bought enough wire so to make all connections from the trailer hitch to top of post so no connections go in the water to rot off. AAAAThis is just a site to show you, I got on ebay cheaper! http://www.veveinc.com/shop/Pipe-Lig...T-Lights..html

Jdog those lights are submersible based on the belljar principle. Air stays trapped in the housing preventing water from coming in. Take a clear glass and put it in the dishwater opening first. At least that is how they are supposed to work.

yea I was thinking about that to, like when you hold a glass upsides down and push it down in the water, but I guess we will see what happens.
I love the pole light idea that rocks!!!
