It's easy to get caught up in the fervor of the moment. 3) I think that what Lathehand was trying to express is his mistrust of our present president, a person that is an avowed Christian and yet has publically stated that, to him, the "most beautiful sound in the world" is the morning call to prayer in the Muslem faith. However, I completely agree with you that it should not have any bearing on the gas station incident.
