Off topic...I have an original 1974 owners manual , a Mercruiser 120-140-165 Marine engines installation manual and one more engine specific manual all totalling about 40 pages. I would like to share with the group but don't know where to post them on the site. Full of great information.

The combine will most likely have a truck or industrial generator type camshaft in it. I'm 99% certain that MELLINGS stil makes marine camshafts for the 250 as MICHIGAN MOTORS still remanufacturs the 250 for marine useage. If not CLEVITE may still have them. CLIFFORD does alot for performance use, but I don't know if they did much for marine use. They do still have alot of performance parts for the straight 6 dinosaurs.

MELLINGS does still make them, part number 22118. And it is quite differrent in the duration and cam lobe design VS the truck cam, so I could only imagine how differrent it is from the combine cam. I found it at several places for $140.
