I dont know what to say about that with out being cold hearted. They should not have been there to start with. trying to enter hatteras which is one of the most treacherous inlets on the east coast while its blowing a gale is silly. I wonder what he was thinking when leaving the inlet in those conditions. heres some pics of how things like this happen even in semi- ideal conditions with experience an captain.
